ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

Alamal Special Education Institute, affiliated with the Child and Mother Care Association, is a charitable social institution founded in 1977 AD to fill an urgent need for specialized educational services in the field of special education, based on its belief in the importance of this segment of society.

OBJECTIVES

1. The individual educational program provided to students (mild mental retardation category) at the institute aims to develop their abilities to the greatest extent possible in the following aspects:

Independent functions - social skills - motor skills - sensory skills - linguistic skills - psychological dimensions - and recreational fields.

2. Developing the skills and behavior patterns that the student needs in his daily life.
3. Developing the skills and abilities that make the student live in a manner as close as possible to normal life.

4. Developing the student’s patterns of behavior and responses in a way that is consistent with the social reality in which he lives.

5. Helping the student to develop skills that help him face the demands of his daily life with the utmost self-reliance and personal competence.

6. Supporting the parents and guiding them to accept their son and adapt to the situation resulting from his presence.

7. Conduct studies and research that would raise the level of services provided to these children.
